That's a monstrosity. Could it look any uglier? I mean, it looks like you bolted a bunch of spare metal on under there, just my .02.

I have seen it before.. the whole system bolts on with "U" bolts.. Not very pretty.. and who wants to keep checking and repositioning those...!!!!

Doesnt seem very practical for hard wheeling.. Maybe they will come out with something better..

I was thinking either RE or FT is coming out (soon?) with a "Ultimate" 4" kit that also does away with the rear trac bar..

I really like the Rancho Kit.... But am going to wait just a little bit more to see what FT does..
( and will probably buy a FT. bar from Tereflex when I do.!)

I think Eddie had said something on a thread I started about track bars, about FT coming out with a 4" kit.

Yea.. You know what they say.. "Patience is a virtue"...

So wait a little longer and see what they come up with..

FT has a kit similar for the TJ.. So I expect they will do one for the JK too..

That Rancho Kit will probably be the ticket..

Want to hear from someone who has put one on..

Did I miss something? Why would someone want to do away with the rear track bar? Ranchos kit seems pretty but I really don't see what it does by removing it. The long arms is what increases the articulation, and if anything the sway bar is what limits it.

Just Paranoia... lots of posts/threads about the rear trac Bar being relocated, broken etc.

Find it's a funny way to keep the axle centered..

Like the thought of a center swing version that will let the rear articulate freely..
( Well as much the lift and tire size will let you.. )

Trying to learn some stuff from the serious off roaders, that run the Baha etc. and learn from their mistakes, improvements etc.
And I don't think many of their vehicles are running trac bars like these.. (But I could be wrong)

Well, I guess it depends on which direction your planning on going with your jeep. Baja racers are more highspeed rather then ability to articulate. There are alot of crawlers that run trackbar setups with no problems. About them breaking iv really only heard of 2 on this forum and they both had the same lift with the lower bracket. I personally don't think its a bad setup, hell Jeeps have been running trackbars for years.

I love this forum, cause there are guys (and girls) like you and me that compare Ideas and notes, and feel differently about applications..

Mainly, I have been watching all the posts etc. about the rear trac bar problems so I am looking for another solution.. I do like the short and long arm sets..!!
