You got it!! If you do the switch be careful!! There are 2 purple wires with stripes in the wiring loom. You have to get the right one. Once you cut the wire, start the jeep and check to see if your traction control and ABS lights are on in the dash. If so,, you cut the right wire. I wish I could remember which one it is, there is a purple wire with a dark stripe and another wire with a lighter stripe. I think its the light stripe wire. But do the research first.

EDIT EDIT EDIT!!!!!! Just did the search ESP KILL SWITCH on this forum, and found it,, its the light blue stripe you cut!!!

Sounds like dismantling a bomb! I guess I haven't been adventurous yet, after pressing the button I haven't seen it light up on the dash. This marriage with technology scared me out of auto mechanics decades ago. Perhaps I should finally start accepting it. But then I'll probably buy a Landrover...
