Here in Colorado they see modified jeeps as a easier way to sell them so most dealers will still give you a reasonable offer. I was also told of corse with good credit the banks here will refinance your jeep to add modifications like engine swap and axles.

Traded our Rubi and only got $18,000 after their low ball offer of 16,500 .... But got a $44,500 Rubi X unlimited for $40,500 with two free oil changes. Went two two different dealers then back to the first with a jar of Vasoline jelly and well you know the rest!

Honestly, how did I do? Ps ours had 99,600 miles and 5 each, one month long trips to moab on it, not a mall crawler!

I paid $38600 for a $46000 13 jkur. Every option but heated seats and painted top. But do get soft top too.

Did you have a trade and was it built up any? If so did you get what you expected?
Last question, have you tried the 115 volt plug on anything?

A few months ago I was offered 19000 for my 09 unlimited, but I would have had to return it to stock. Crazy.

Yeah these dealers sending letters are crazy. I don't know what the catch is. I paid 15,300 for my 2008 in March of 2011. It had 45,000 miles on. In October 2013 I got an offer letter from my Jeep dealership for 16,500. At that time my Jeep had about 68,000 miles on it.

My guess is that it is an attempt to get rid of the lifetime warranties on the 2008 (and maybe 2009??) Jeeps that are still out there. So I would assume once they found out I was not the original owner that the offer would not hold up. And I would imagine that it would have to be on a brand new vehicle too.

Was offered 30,500 for my built 11' jku today. But here in canada a new jkur is 46-52k. Jeeps cant stay on the lots up here. One dealer only had 4 left and another just got a fresh batch but they will sell almost one per day.

I almost did a trade but i have too much into my build. Couldnt let her go.
