I was thinking of the 6spd.I like to drive both .But when you are getting into the rough terrain.I think the auto is the best choice . Thanks for your impute

I think it just takes practice. I had an 04 unlimited with an auto, 35's, and 4:88's. It was great offroad, but a dog on. I swore my next jeep would be a stick. I think once I regear to 4:88's (again!) it will be better off road as the 3.8 likes to rev like an import tuner. It isn't bad with 35's and 4:10's, but a gear swap will help climbing alot better. I've been offroad once with the lift and 35's and need some practice to be comfortable with the 6sp. If I had to do it again id have to flip a quarter.
