Anyone have any issues with your transmission searching when the rpms are hitting 1200-1500. I regeared thinking it was going to sold the issue. I'm guessing the tranny might be going. It shifts decent and I've only had it slip once or twice and that was in 15 degree weather. For reference I have an 08 auto jku.

 

Have you checked the ATF?

I did a pan drop drain and fill plus new filter on my 08 and the improvement was dramatic.

And I wasn't having any issues to start with. Just some 60k maintenance. But, wow, what a noticeable improvement.

BTW, do you have an auxiliary cooler on that trans? Pretty much a requirement for 07-11.

 

I didn't do a drain yet but was planning in it. I have my new supercooler sitting right in front of me. Probably going on this weekend.
