TRE bent or needs adjustment?
Hello folks,
I noticed yesterday that the passenger side wheel favors a toe out position, while the drive side is straight. I know if I turn the steering wheel to the left it would appear that the passenger side would be straight and the driver side would be in toe out. However, it seems to always favor the passenger side position. Could this be a bent TRE, bad knuckle, or do I need to adjust my toe? All components TRE, drag link, track bar and all knuckles seem to be undamaged, from an eyeball prospective. You input in appreciated!

It could also be your eyes playing tricks on you. My passenger wheel also looks like it favours a toe out. When I was running a stock front end it looked that way and now that I've replaced the whole front end and my measurements are correct it still looks that way. My tires wear fine and it drives down the road fine so I've stopped worrying about it. I am not saying not to double check everything, but if everything seems good and it drives just fine then let it be.
Good luck

Moves the toe... So any suggestions on how to free up a striped bolt or do I have to buy a new tie rod?

I guess your toe is off a bit?
We have the same issue up here in Ontario with road salt. You can try soaking it with PB blaster, WD40 and even use a torch to put some heat on it. If that doesn't work then go ahead and replace your tie-rod. It's what I ended up doing, 4 years of winter salt pretty much killed the adjuster.
If you're lucky and break it free, throw some anti-seize on the threads.
Good luck

Go with Synergy, me and all my buddies run it. We've wheeled the Canadian shield and the slickrock of Moab without issue. I abuse my jeep and I am never worried about my tie-rod (it will bend and straighten out). It's more money but it does the job, just be sure to use anti-sieze on the adjuster.
