I have about 1,200 miles on the 35" Gaurd Dogs (old Goodyear MTR tread) and got the BFG all-terrain carcass for all 4, which they'll let you pick if you are willing to wait a few days in the case they aren't in stock and ready to ship. They have kind of a high 'whine' to them at speeds over 30-35 on up, vs. the low 'growl' I'm used to with other mud tires. They ride smooth and are very grippy on all surfaces. I haven't tested deep mud yet, but gravel and boulders they are great! I'm really looking forward to snow and ice, since I opted for the kedge-grip. Very happy spending $500 less than every other comparable set of 4 mud tires, too.

I'm interested in this as well, I'm up for new tires soon and I might be steered in this direction of they are any good. I have some 2 year old bfg mtrs that are cracking already that makes me kind of worried about buying old rubber. As well as I have had a blowout on a highway and it was pretty scary. But if they hold up then it might be worth it.

they are used sidewalls.....on the road you'll probably be fine with them but offroad i would skip them.
I had some wardens for 40k miles and they last a looonng time, but i would never buy them again. balance like crap, chunk from very little wheeling, and the sidewalls crack since they are old/used.
Theres a reason the warranty is void when you wheel and you aren't supposed to air them down. theres also a reason they will send you replacements with little question
