Just curious how it's being used. Feel free to post advice and comments as desired but there are very informative threads on the to already just going for the poll.

I don't have the NX, however I have a trektop for my 2012 JKU for spring/summer/fall. For what it's worth, if I had the NX I'd leave it on all year; as it currently stands I put the freedom top on in early november and I'm going to be removing it once all this snow in MA is over for sure!

Agreed...I am in Texas and am completely unhappy with the stock top. Any issues with leaking, hows the wind noise, and whats the ease of changing?

It's noisy but so is a regular soft top, no leaks, and I love it, I either keep it on and feel like a Baja racer driving around town or I take out the windows when I take the doors off and it keeps you cool. I love it haha

I'm in Texas as well. Mine stays on year round. Not as easy to remove the windows as the factory soft top but well worth it for looks and still very functional. I just don't mess with taking the windows off when it's under 70*. Too tight of a fit and you need a little heat to stretch it out. No leaks from mine and I will say that Bestop has the best customer service when it has come to warranty work.

Mister Ed, this looks fantastic. Off topic, what have you added to the suspension and what size tire are you using?

Teraflex leveling kit(pucks only), procomp 35's. it's a Rubicon so it does sit just a tad higher than non rubis.

I got my JKU new in '08 w/ both tops. Bought an NX in the spring of 2012. Went thru spring, summer & fall w/ no leakage issues. Last fall I decided to go thru winter w/ the NX rathar than reinstalling the hardtop as I did previous years. The NX, winter or summer, is just slightly noisier than the stock hardtop; actually, I was surprised that the cabin noise level wasn't that much different. As for keeping the heat in - not a noticeable difference there either. Had I not had a 35'' spare sitting at the back, I'd have reinstalled the hardtop because of the rear wiper but seeing I can't see much thru there anyhow, the NX remained. All in all, I'm very satisfied w/ this NX - for all seasons; really like that 'fastback' look. Get an NX ? I'd do it all over again.
