Default Trektop or factory softop??

Just bought a factory unopened 2012 jku softtop and hardware from a brand new jku owner that didn't want it.

But then I thought about the trektop? Anyone have both or prefer one over the other?

I replaced my factory soft top with the Trektop, no leaks and looks much better.

I had a Bestop Supertop that leeked like a sieve. I could not get any warranty or support help to fix it through Bestop (though I paid extra for a lifetime warranty and it was new anyway).

Found a used Mopar top and swapped - it is completely dry now. I would go the Mopar top, as IME Bestop does not stand behind their products if you have a problem.

Yes, the 2 side windows just unzip and they're off. The back window is held at the top by a slip fit channel and zips to the sides. You can have all 3 off in just a few minutes.

I would love to trade the factory top for a trek top NX, and I haven't even put the soft top on yet.

Mariner, what year is your softop for, and is it 4 door? I have an OffRoad Heroes trek, and may be willing to swap out for a factory, or similar, soft top. It is super easy to take off.
