Trektop is on! Now a few questions
Although i have the two door trek top my fit on the header is much better, the pics posted by the op lok like a new header bar may be the solution. the inside pic when you tighten the screw due to the v bracket should push the top forward and down onto the windshield. it is possible that the footman loop is bentand therefor not allowing the header to fit tight. Mine has a consistant 3/16 to 1/4 inch gap along the full length of the windshield, no leaks but i do get a fair bit of wind noise at the drivers side corner.
hope the new header does the job, i love the top and without bows we are going to have to live with some pitfalls but the header should be tight. as for the leaks, there was a post that bestop recomend spraying the inside along the seam with 3m water repellant.
enjoy the top, it rolls up real nice and fits snugly right behind the front seats on the two soor and took me 4 minutes to put it up last night before the rain started.

Jay ray check the shipping carton very carefully for damage when you receive it with the delivery driver present, my first top was badly damaged inside the packaging with no visible signs on the cardboard, Bestop ship with practically no padding in the packaging, even my second top had a severely scratched back window and just received the rplacement last week.
DiscoDave - thanks!
Sliding it in is the first thing we tried but as soon as you get past the split, the side we had already slid on, pops off because it gives where the split is. I'm wondering if maybe the J hooks aren't connecting tightly enough. It's bad enough that there is no way one person could do it alone and even with 2 people it was a major PITA.

just installed the trek top yesterday. It looks bad. I absolutely love it. Yea it took 6 weeks to get here, and another 2 weeks of crappy weather before i could install it but it looks awesome. I am going to give her a bath and then i will post some pictures of it.

Dave, thanks for the emotional support ;-)
