Mine has a consistant 3/16 to 1/4 inch gap along the full length of the windshield, no leaks but i do get a fair bit of wind noise at the drivers side corner.
hope the new header does the job, i love the top and without bows we are going to have to live with some pitfalls but the header should be tight. as for the leaks, there was a post that bestop recomend spraying the inside along the seam with 3m water repellant.

enjoy the top, it rolls up real nice and fits snugly right behind the front seats on the two soor and took me 4 minutes to put it up last night before the rain started.
Don't worry Jay, if you get too much wind noise at the header, just get the Wade Windshield Deflector. I had that problem then installed that and now there is hardly NO windnoise. It will do the trick for you!

Jay ray check the shipping carton very carefully for damage when you receive it with the delivery driver present, my first top was badly damaged inside the packaging with no visible signs on the cardboard, Bestop ship with practically no padding in the packaging, even my second top had a severely scratched back window and just received the rplacement last week.

DiscoDave - thanks!

Sliding it in is the first thing we tried but as soon as you get past the split, the side we had already slid on, pops off because it gives where the split is. I'm wondering if maybe the J hooks aren't connecting tightly enough. It's bad enough that there is no way one person could do it alone and even with 2 people it was a major PITA.

Thanks for the tip Mariner, but I'm not always present when my stuff arrives. I'll try my best though and keep you guys updated.

Dave, thanks for the emotional support ;-)

Ya my first one that i received looked like one of the door surrounds went through the rear window but bestop was all about sending out a replacement now if only I could receive a top that doesnt leak at the seam above the soundbar. I am going to talke to bestop and see if I can get some tent sealer and hope that works but at the same time when this is coming from the factory already leaking that is kinda crapy.
