There have been several negative reports on the "California Tops" even back in the TJ days. They renamed the company ORH to avoid the negative old company name. The first few JK tops they made were shipped damaged with holes in them, and their customer service was lacking. There were multiple posts several years ago on the poor business practices of this company. They take your money and you wait months for your top, no follow up. You can but whatever you want but my money will be going to a Trektop NX this summer.

Search the web and you will see a lot of hits on orh or california tops. If you can get one of their tops it is good quality, and one of the guys in my club has one. But it took forever to get, and the customer service is abysmal, which is the kindest thing to say about it.

They earned their bad rep. Caveat emptor

Gotcha, was just curious. I think I actually had one of their tops on my TJ. I cant remember what company I ordered it from as it was years ago. On a different note, kind of sounds like Shrockworks. Over 90 days and still waiting and no email responses...

they is a strong word. its a one man operation. search on google, a few folks on wrangler forum actually bought it (recently). took a number of months to get, no real follow up. they seem happy with the purchase. if I was in the market, I think I would go with ORH just because design wise, its what I want; the flip side of that is that if I was in the market, I would go crazy waiting that long to get mine. I have no patience! 100% if you want a product now, and you want customer service, go with bestop.

Shrock is not like them, the wait time sucks but you get a stellar extremely well built product that will probably outlast the Jeep.
