Default Trektop question...

I've heard that the Trektop is very hard to get on....is that just the initial install....or is it every time?

Never had a soft top....but want to get rid of the hard top for a full time soft top. But dont' want a headache every time i want to put it back on.

Also...how quickly do they reinstall?

like any soft top, it can be tough to install when it's cold out. so long as you do it in the sun, it's not bad at all.

if you're just taking off the top and will be leaving the door surrounds in place, it's super fast to take on and off - maybe 5 min or less. if you remove the surrounds as well, it can take about 10-15 min.

It was 72 in north Dallas last week and I removed the surrounds and had a great drive home. None too pleased trying to put things back on the next day. You want it to be warm but you also need the sunlights to really heat up the top material as well. Sitting in a 72 degree shop will not be enough to help IMhO.
