I know a lot of you that have cut your fenders have put the black trim on the edges, like I did. Has anyone had trouble keeping the trim on the fender? Mine keeps falling off. I put it on on a nice warm day and even applied a blow dryer to help it stick. Any help on this?

I've been contemplating using a little silicone on the edge of the fender and pressing the door guard on over that to hold me over until I get new fenders, because occasionally the ends will pop off.

I tried superglue on a small portion of trim. It held for a few days and came off again. Thinking the inside of the trim might have been to gritty though. Might take it all off, clean em up and re-apply. Think it's time to start saving for some aftermarkets. Was driving down the highway today into a headwind. When a semi passes by it blew the bottom portion of my front flare off the brackets.

I had that problem with the trim I bought at Walmart bc it didn't have any glue inside. I decided to pull it off and use a small amounts of gorilla glue(really thin bead). Remember to not put too much on bc that glue expands as it dries. Holding strong 2 yrs

Door trim usually has a bead of silicone in it. Maybe even try to use a heat gun to warm it a bit. Do you have a dressing in it preventing it from adhering properly?

No dressing of any type inside. When I installed it last year I used a blow dryer on each section hoping it would adhere.

IMO i would try and clean up the edge and run with no trim. I cut mine and while they arent 100% perfect they still look quite nice without trim along the edge.
