Default Trouble filling Diff fluid

Just as the title says. It was warm this weekend, so I went ahead and painted my diff covers last night, and went to install them today. Install went smoothly, got the bolts on and lube locker no issue. However, I can't seem to get the oil in the diffs. the track bar is in the way of fill hole. seems like a silly issue, but damn it, now i'm stuck without a working jeep!

also, is there an easy way to figure out how much fluid to put in? specially since i have a LSD in the rear.

Autozone has a pump that screws into the bottle and a hose the goes into the fill hole. Think its like $4. It will take a while but it will get the job done

Searching thru the write up section, the front takes 1.35 quarts and the rear 2.375 quarts

I don't mean to hijack but did you remove your covers to paint them? I want to do mine as well. Planning on doing this in the spring.

I just used rustoleum semi gloss spray paint.. It holds up ok, but i would probally use hi-heat spray paint next time as those diff covers can get pretty hot

Ok. I was going to get factory spray can touch up to match but I'll look into high heat. Thanks.

Each aftermarket diff cover is diff, so the amount of fluid is going to vary. I just filled then until the fluid started coming out of the hole (haha, I know)...
