Maybe I caught the lip and that's why It leaked out... I also fingered the hole (couldn't resist) with my pinky... I don't have anything coming out of breather or smells

Yea the first time I filled the front it came spewing out a good bit and refilled up to my pinky. If its not coming up out of the breather then your fine. The high pressure in the diff can cause any excess oil to be pumped out through the breather. Its happened to me before (in my old rig).

Its alright I guess. I'm not Army so its kind of nice to not have to deal with the Army bullshit here that I see all the time. Prefer Army posts over Air Force bases for sure though.

I'm in Eustis (VA) but doing a PCS to Germany in April... Yea, the Army has a lot of bullshit...

which base? I was at Mannheim a few years back. Love Germany

so autozone was out of the fancy pumps, so i just got a syphon to get it in there. sucked, made a huge mess and took forever to fill, but finally the job is done. since i promised, here are the pics! i used the orange engine paint, and some black nail polish on the R. Covered everything in some clear coat. I like how it turned out, though I have my doubts on how well it will hold up wheeling.
