Default True or not???

So I called a 4x4 shop and was asking them about getting a lift on my 09 unlimited. I told them I want the TeraFlex 2.5" BB and asked how much it would be. He said $1800.00. That would include the lift with the shock extenders, installation, an alignment and new drivelines. he said that the stock drivelines would be toast in 6 months. I thought that if i was under a 4" lift i didn't need drivelines. I'm pretty sure that's true and this shop is just trying to make some extra $$$. Please let me know if this is true.

Thanks.

If that were the case I'd risk it anyway. Let them be toast and then replace them when it happens. I do not think that would be the case though.

HAHAHA

Must have been an April fools joke on YOU!

btw, I personally would avoid a shop that either lives by the motto "there's a sucker born every minute" or really just has no f-ing clue what they are talking about.

He said $1800.00. That would include:
lift with the shock ext $260 (ish)
installation $80-100/hr x 4 (ish)
alignment $80-100 (ish)
new drivelines (bet he doesn't even change them)

Finding someone to overcharge - priceless

I didn't think I needed to. I even called the dealer and asked them about installing a 2.5" lift and would it void my warranty and would I need to replace the drivelines or anything else with a 2.5". He said no to all.

So what do I need to do along with the Teraflex 2.5" BB? Is there anything?

Thanks again.

Run the other way. Do the lift yourself. Your alignment may not get bumped out one bit....other than perhaps a small caster decrease.

get the 2.5" tera coil lift instead. It levels the jeep and looks great. Everyone on here that has it loves it. It isn't much more cash either. You won't need drivelines and you can install yourself.
