Default Tuffy security deck--weather resistant?

i'm looking into getting the tuffy security deck for my 2011 JKU..in the summer i run just a safari top. i know nothing is waterproof, but how water resistant is the tuffy?

how is it holding up in the element for people..i'm worried about the occasional rain storm.

i know most everyone here is happy with theirs--but does anyone have any "yeah but" stories?

thanks
steve

eh, it'll keep most of the water off of your stuff but, there are plenty of areas where water will still get in. mainly on the sides where the top meets up with the fender wells.

Can you just throw a duster cover over the security deck to get weather protection? I thought it fit with a duster?

Yes it'll fit you have to stretch it but it'll fit, I know someone who runs it like this. Much drier than just the decklid.
