I was, now I'm testing a custom performance ECU reflash by the company that programs for Avenger. The verdict is still out on the tune though. The Jeep will run fine without any ECU mods on the stock programming. Mine had some pinging that I'm trying to work out, all I can get here is 91 octane and it likes 93 better.

Thanks. Keep us posted on the new tune. I am still thinking about the supercharger myself. All in all would you recommend it if I wanted to keep my stock ECU?
As for your 93 octane problem, you may want to consider a water/methanol injection system. These will only inject at high boost and will up your octane to 100+ even if you use 87 octane gas. http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory...CategoryID=120
BTW, water/meth is what the RIPP supercharger uses to cool their system. They do not use an intercooler at all. I am not recommending this route but it's worth pointing out that it is a very safe way to not only cool the air charge but to also raise octane.
I messed with a water/meth injection system before on a supercharged Chevy pickup...was a pain in the a**. The Hesco has an intercooler and I know it is not an air intake temperature problem as it still pinged when I had 35 degree intake air temperatures. I am blending E85 to up the octane right now. I would still recommend the sc even with stock ECU, if you drove it you would see why.
