I have tough about the chip thing and was wondering if anyone has done any thing with the engine? Like port and polished head work. Maybe cam swap. These are old school , and may not work. I would fine that hard believe.

Pretty much nothing works without the computer understanding what's going on. No cam that I know of, and to get the type of upgrades you are talking about to work, Diablo or SCT would need to enter the fray for a real tuner.

The Superchips Flashpaq is the preferred way to roll until something better comes along.

JPop - DO YOU RUN A CHIP AND CAN YOU FILL THE 25HP THEY CALL FOR ?
YOU CAN TALL I'M A OLD DUDE. I HAVE NOT FOUND ANY GOOD PARTS AND WAS LOOKING REAL HARD AT THE CHIP ROUTE. I KNOW THAT WITH ALL THE PERIMETERS THAT ARE NEEDED TO RUN A PEAK POWER I'D NEED CHIP.

Are all you guys sayin "superchips is the way to go" running stock tires/suspension or otherwise? Auto or 6-speed? I have a 2dr, 6-speed, running stock 32s. What would I notice if I purchased this product?

I'm just trying to get some more in-depth responses. Rather than just yes/no whatever..

I have a 3 inch susp, 1 inch body lift , 35's, with 5.13s. I noticed a big difference on the "butt dyno" when I installed the superchips. Shifting is much better, speedo is calibrated close, and driven properly(that is not me driving with my lead foot)you can gain a around 2 mpg.

I drive alot on mountain roads, up and down and on and of of the gas, the superchips with its different shifting makes the vehicle much more enjoyable to drive.
