If you replace your hydro lines, take a look at the lines I used. I posted what they are in my hydro thread. Nothing against the psc lines but their length is very generic and at least with the aeroquip lines I used, you can make them exactly the length you need and they look cooler too since they’re blue. Also, not sure about psc but at least with the aeroquip lines, you don’t need to worry about a swedge for the lines so you can do trail fixes on a leaky line if need be. However, mine haven’t leaked a drop so I feel that the lines I have are better than psc just because I can make them the length I need to the t.

OP, if you replace your gearbox, look at the psc tapped gear boxes. At least that way you reserve the capability for hydro steer down the road if you ever want it.

Y, I saw those lines you used which is really set me down that path. I had the PSC lines all queued up to order since those guys are literally 15 miles or so away, but it was right when that big Texas freeze hit and everything went out the window. Theirs are the same way, kinda make your own length and fit things together.....I like that they can be a basic trail repair and not something that stops you dead in the water if you have an extra bit of hose. If I do that though, I'll definitely take a look at what you got again and compare. I'll probably do it at some point here, cuz that is the stage my build is at....fixing little nagging things vs. big improvements.

I ordered a 10ft length and used less than 6 ft for my build. I keep the rest spiraled up in my kit when I’m off pavement.

Aside from full size axles and 40’s, I’m almost done with all the big stuff for my build. I can get into the weeds on interior build and stereo stuff (I used to have a competition quality sql stereo and I desperately want to do another in my Jeep) but that’s for way down the road. I think once I get axle shafts and skid plates, I’ll be set.
