I have a quick question. Would it hurt anything if I upgraded my front driveshaft even if my jeep wasn't lifted?

If you are not lifted then swapping shafts isn't really an upgrade. The stock shafts require no control arm upgrades, are less vibration prone, and have stronger joints than most afermarket shafts.

If you don't need a new shaft to fit a lift application then I wouldn't bother replacing it.
