Default "Upgrading" My Interior

I have a 2010 JKU and have been wanting to do some painting to spruce up the interior. I'd like to do the vent circles, dash cluster, arm rest and the sides of my dash in the center. Right now the vents are black (like the rest of the interior), the cluster is silver and the sides of the arm rest and dash are gray. I'm needing some ideas or input for what color to paint what. Not wanting to get too crazy with colors but will entertain all ideas. Right now I'm leaning toward painting the gray portions black. Annnndd GO!

Since your jeep is black I would entertain your favorite color as an accent starting point. If your favorite color is black then move to your secondary favorite. Will also be easier to accentuate the color on exterior as well as lights potentially down the road if you start small on the interior and get used to it. Another option that is relatively inexpensive is to have the pieces hydrodipped with some kind of pattern. You could paint the trim pieces a color then hydrodip over the top of it for a colored pattern as well.

What if my favorite secondary color is black?! All joking aside, I appreciate the input. Hydrodip would be pretty cool. Maybe get some tire tracks?

I'm thinking about going with flat dark earth as an accent on my black 2 door. It looks sick on my ar, so can't look too bad on the jeep.

Never heard of such a thing. Is it just a dark flat brown? They make it in a spray can?

FDE is basically like a desert tan, khaki color. I've just gone to Walmart and grabbed it before. If you look over by the spray paints it's usually with the camouflage ones. You'll notice it.

Like he said it's basically a dark tan/light brown, it depends on the manufacturer too, I've got all fde parts on my ar and you can see the different shades. I'll go get a pic to show you
