You should look into the plastidip spray cans. Check to see if they offer that color. IT's really simple to use and if you don't like the color you can just peel it off with no mess to clean up after. I've changed the color on my girls car many times with this stuff. It's pretty cheap and durable too.

Unless I find something I love I'll be going the plastidip route. Been thinking about a bright green, orange or blue for other accent colors so I could start with one color and when I get tired of it I could still remove.

If you are going to paint the plastic parts the key to getting paint to stick to them is all in the prep. Sand them with some very fine sand paper, 1000 grit or finer as there will be mold parting lines on the plastic that will be very noticeable after you paint. After this is done bring them into the house and give them a good scrubbing in the sink with some warm water and dish soap. This will get any sanding dust and oil from your fingers off of them. Once this is done get a pair of rubber gloves on because you don't want to handle the plastic with your bare hands or you get more oils on them. Get some Krylon Fusion primer for plastic, give it a VERY light dusting of paint, do not try to cover in one coat. This will also show you if you got the parts smooth and clean because any imperfections will show in the paint, and if there is oil on the part the paint will pull away from it. Once that dusting coat dries and you see no imperfections give it a little heavier coat and then let that dry. Now take some 2000 grit sand paper and go over the primer lightly and smooth it out a little. Now give it two more heavier coats until it is completely covered. Give it a light sanding with the 2000 grit again but don't sand through to bare plastic. Now you are ready to put the final color on. Do the same with one very light coat and then go a little heavier, sand and finish. Remember to clear coat when done to protect the paint.

Sounds like a lot more work than needed if you ask me. Did th entire interior in my diesel 3 years ago. Just wiped down with alcohol and put 2 maybe 3 coats on. It's held up fine......
