Upgrading my lift
OK I want to upgrade my lift and you will see why in a minute.
Specs - 2012 JKU Sahara. 2.5" Teraflex Coils, Bilstein 5100s 1.5"-3" models, front mid width bumper (60-70lbs), Engo 10k winch with Syn, also running 1 and 1/2" pucks in front to level. Rough Country control arm relocation brackets in front.
Net lift sits at 2.5" in front right now. That's right. The TF coils have sagged badly in less than 2 years.
I am running 35" KM2s and the Jeep looks "squatty". I also tend to rub my fenders when wheeling.
I want to gain some lift. Here is what I am thinking:
Metal Cloak 3.5" 4dr coils ( dual rate) all the way around and new longer travel Bilstein shocks. I am thinking the brackets in front will keep my caster in check. I currently removed the brackets from my brake lines and have them zip tied to my shock bodies. When I had my 33s on the thing would flex like crazy with no issues with the brake lines. I am wondering if I need new extended lines for this application. I also am still running my factory front DS but I have a Coast 1310 sitting in my office as insurance. I really didn't want to have to put it on, but with 3.5" I will probably have to. Wanted to avoid any possibly vibration issues.
I really don't want new CAs either. I really like the stock bushings and plus an adj set of CAs doubles the price of the lift. I do moderate wheeling with an occasional rock pile and such. Being a JKU I tend to drag the belly ( I do have JCR skids )and want more lift for flex and also the look.
So there is what I am thinking. Tell my what I have not thought of or if you think this is a decent setup. Keep in mind I am in FL and live no where near CO, KY, PA, UT, CA or any other place with real obstacles. Closest place to me is Hard Rock in Ocala and I do pretty much everything there.
Just tired of my squatty @ss JKU and 35s tucked in the wheel wells.
PS- If I move forward with this setup, I am thinking I will sell my TF coils and 5100s. $300 for the set sound fair?
Thanks for reading and replies.

this baffles me.....also JKs have bad ground clearance in general. Flex and lift height do not go together for the most part......if you want flex and more lift i say get coils and shocks and be done, but id bet you will run into other issues down the road. Id do some research and plan it out right. Take some measurements and go form there.
Its your jeep you can do what you want. At 3.5" of lift expect to do the driveshaft sooner then later and you will likely have some bump steer and flighty steering although the relocation brackets should help. I would expect you to need to address the brake lines if you go with a longer travel shock as well. Not sure why you would go to a longer travel shock if you already have some sized for a 3" lift as you stated you live in Florida and can already do what you have offered there. At 3.5" of lift your wheels will not be centered in your wheel wells, for some reason that has always looked bad to me but like I said its your rig if you like the look fine by me.
Good luck with the build.
Teraflex coils are known to sag bad over time with any weight on them, I see this complaint over and over and just can't see how anyone buys their stuff.

I don't know if you have considered running flat fenders, they will give you the look of about 4" more of lift and will take care of the clearance issue of the tires rubbing when stuffed.
No messing with driveshafts or other components and you will leave the suspension geometry closer to stock.

First off....I messed up in not getting a Rubicon vs a Sahara (for obvious reasons). Now my wife likes the matching flares. I keep scratching them and banging them on stuff in the hopes she might let me get some Ace or Bushwacker flares. I do like metal ones, but I am reluctant to add more weight to this thing. I get the whole Low Center of Gravity school of thought and agree keeping driveline angles, steering geometry and such as close to stock is desirable.
