Default upgrading tire size

I have an 07 wrangler x (2door) with 245/75R16 tires on it.

The wheel size is 16 x 7.0 (it's stock so correct me if I'm wrong but I think it is x7.0)

My question is can I put on 285/75R16 (33x11.50R16) tires on the stock 16 x 7.0 wheels without rubbing?
I'm just worried there wont be enough backspace and ill need spacers or new wheels. (I hope I don't, I love the stock wheels)

If needed to upgrade, what wheel size is preferred for 16in or 15in? (16 x ?) or (15 x ?)

It's a stock suspension but I'm not worried about that since I will be getting a 2.5BB lift in the future.

thank you for the help

Ok after doing more reading I came to conclusion that I'm going to buy 15 x 8 wheels.

I just need them to have 3.75"-4" of backspacing and the 33x11.50R15 will fit without rubbing.

any suggestions on 15x8 wheels with 3.75"-4" BS at a low cost is appreciated.
