Default vibes with skid plate

I have the rock hard engine/tranny skid. I get vibes around 60mph and up. No vibes without the skid plate.

1. I have moved the exhaust up so its not touching.
2. As that didnt fix the problem, I cut out 3 x 8 inch where the exhaust is closest and welded in a plate another quarter inch lower. The exhaust is nowhere near the plate at this point - cant muscle it anywhere near the plate either.
3. I have put rubber washers between the front supports and the engine mounts, between the front supports and the skid pate, and between the skid plate and cross member.
4. I have triple checked that everything is torqued down.

I am out of ideas.

I have zero vibrations on mine, it is installed exactly as provided. The only issues i have seen where all exhaust related.

Is anything hitting one of the drob brackets in the front?

Also, it's a pretty big flat plate and it might be reflecting a vibration noise back up that was there that you just didnt hear before?... ~just a thought.

I think someone else mentioned hearing more with it on come to think of it.

There is a thread about this somewhere, I'll lokk it up.

Edit:
Here it is: Rockhard Engine Skid = very minor vibes?

Nothing is close to the drop brackets.
I cant figure out what is special about 60+ mph. Thought maybe the wind was blowing something into something else. Cant find what that something is...

Thanks for the link. Thats where I got the "raise the exhaust idea".
