Default Wanting to alter an RC lift

Here's the question boys and girls...

I have a rough county 2.5 coil lift. I had a 4x4 shop add 3/4 inch spacers so I can comfortably fit my 35s....it rides pretty rough. If I choose different shocks, will my ride improve any? And will I be ok if I change out my RC shocks for say bilstein shocks and still keep the RC coils and the spacer? thanks!

I installed 5100s on my friends truck for him and was amazed at the ride improvement. I'm going to get some of those.
