I'm been debating looking for stock fenders again and just swapping them out but I dunno. I like that look, only thing is imagine that little lip on the fender gone it may look out of proportion what u think?

yeah I see what you're sayin. I think it would still look good, maybe lean towards a bigger 33" to be safe?

I would try the procal. And if your still not satisfied when those tires wear out get some tires that measure about 33.5 to 34 mounted that are fairly lightweight. That's what I would do. A stated 33 is going to measure 31-32 mounted and then your back to them looking to small. Find a good balance but definitely try the procal

You should adjust your speedo. It will help with your shift points, which will help with the mileage. I have 35's, 3.73 gears, auto, and I have my speedo adjusted and I get 17-18 mpg driving 65-70 all day.

Hmmm. I was pondering the same move. Seems like 33s are the equilibrium point for DD and trail... Gas mileage is absurd (and I recalibrated)

Any tuner should allow you to do this, AEV, superchips, etc.

One thing you definitely should do is correct your speedo calibration for the new tire size with an AEV procal. That way you aren't guessing what your mileage is. I'm drinking beer right now so I can't remember... but I think bigger wheel = slower speed and thus you think you are getting much less mileage than you actually are... I have a 2 door also and get about 15 mpg.

Another thing you should consider is that you just shelled out $$$ for new tires... How much is it going to cost you to switch to 33's right NOW vs the savings in gas? I would guess 5 new 33" tires would be at least 12-1500 bucks. At an additional gas cost of $12-$18 per week (to keep 35's)??? I don't know, personally, I'd just ride those tires out for a few years.

The 35's arnt new I got them used they don't have much tread left. I traded my stock sahara wheels and tires for the 17" wheels and 35's. so I wouldn't mind switching to 33's as I'm gonna need new tires soon anyway.
