WARN 9.0Rc Rock Crawling Winch

Well, if the off roading you do is on mad made concrete rock courses in competition, they're cool.
If you need to run a line more than 50' to get to an anchor point, well, you're screwed.

Around here, in the rocks, its hard to find a safe pull point that close, and in the mud, its hard to not ALSO be in the mud at that range.
Most competition rigs just need a quick pull to get un-high centered or to get over a steep ledge, etc...a few feet, and they're free.
On trail work around here...its typically more like everyone is at the top of the hillclimb, while Joe Baldtires is still spinning around at the bottom, etc...and we need to haul his slick ass up and get going.....or there's a bog area that someone needs to be dragged the length of after she hydrolocked, or realized he didn't have the ability to cross the OTHER half, etc.
100' - 150' is more a normal line length...even 80' is often too short.
Obviously, everyone's terrain is different....we HAVE a man made concrete competition rock course at Rausch Creek for example, and a short lined winch would be fine there...but most of us just flip over and roll to the bottom if we get into trouble on it anyway...so not much winching.
