I got the Superwinch:
125 ft of cable
Fast line speed
came with snatch block and roller fairlead

I have not been disapointed had it almost a year and it has always worked. I did this to it less than a day after installing it.

Default EPi Snatch Block Included with the 9.0?

Hi Everyone,

I have a question about the EPi 9.0 which may help others as they look to buy a new winch.

If anyone has purchased this winch recently, I would like to know if the snatch (pulley) block was included with your winch. And, it would be even more helpful to know if your winch was purchased from 4 Wheel Parts.

Thanks

Jeff

Default Deanthemachine04 - EP1 9.0... In the Box

Hi Dean,

I picked the winch up on Friday. It is not installed yet.

I'm waiting to get an answer from Superwinch and the retailer about the snatch block and whether it should have been included. If it should have been included, I would like to find out why the box I received had been opened, and why there was no snatch block.

I'll post back once I get it installed.

Thanks

Jeff

I see, sounds like you should have got the snatch block too. It says it in included on quadratec.com. Let me know how it goes! Thanks.

Default deanthemachine04... Snatch Block w/EPi 9.0

Hi Dean,

FWIW, I spoke with customer service at Superwinch this afternoon. From what I was told, the pulley (snatch) block is not being shipped presently with the EPi 9.0. She told me that was effective as of about 6 months ago.

I explained that the carton showed the pulley block on the box illustration, and that it was also listed on the box. She was very helpful and said that they would ship one to me. I was required to provide the serial number in order for her to make those arrangements.

I would be very careful if you really want the snatch block to be provided with your winch. I would make sure you get a commitment from whoever you order it from that the snatch block is included, or that one will be provided should it not be included with the winch.

It all still sounds kind of fishy to me anyway, particularly since the box had already been opened before I went to pick it up. But, in the end, it all worked out.

I hope this helps.

Jeff

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for the heads up! I think I will just call and place my order I have to check if the winch will fit in my bumper anyway. Hopefully quadratec knows if the EPI 9.0 with synthetic line comes with a snatch block.
