Default I have a vr-12000 with viking synthetic line. LOVE IT!!!

I have the 12k on my 2 door jk. I've used it a ton on my farm and several times pulling people out on the trails. I've had it since the vr line came out. Zero problems with it what so ever. I just got rid of the 3/8ths cable for synthetic because of how easy it is to handle and spool up. I have got it under the water coming down into a mud hole but i didn't leave it submerged and it has held up just fine.

I bought the Zeon 10s when you see the new winch it is pretty dam impressive. Fully sealed unit as well. Depends on budget I guess but I only plan I buying a winch once so was worth it to me to ensure it will work no matter what.

Anything with the Warn name on it is quality equipment! I love my XD9000i, about waterproofing.... I know urs is "waterproof" but not able to use submerged.... Mine can due to the entire thing being sealed.... That's why I shelled out the extra coin for it because in jersey Pines there's a lot of deep water!

Don't worry about the rebate... Worry about recovery.... A Warn winch will pay for itself on its first pull! My buddy just got a zenon and loves it!

I've had an m8000 for five years. I've abused it and it still runs like new. It's been used a bunch, submerged in water, never covered up from weather and still runs great

I would go for the Zeon. Not just for looks, but for the additional water protection.
