Zeon is centered mounting holes which is uncommon. Bumpers that the winch mounts recessed versus on top you may have fit issues that won't let you go the zeon. Both are similar speeds, depending on how much line is pulled out will depend on which one is faster at that moment.

Edit: speed is dependent on line load, not how much is pulled out. Not sure where that came from. If you check warns website you will see that the zeon is faster than the 9.5cti depending on how much load is on the line

I have the 9.5 CTI which is categorized in Warns performance class & has a way faster line speed than the Zeon. The Zeon is the premium class unless you get the platinum$$$$ & looks dead sexy but does have some fitment issues on some of the bumpers. I'm getting a Zeon 8s for my samurai.

I had the zeon 8s on my last jeep. Had some issues mounting it to my src stinger bumper but was nothing a little bit of trimming couldn't fix.

New jeep came with a warn 9.5ti on it and will be switching for my zeon 8s at some point just because I prefer the look of it

Run the 9.5Cti, went with this unit mostly due to line speed. Works well. Currently using a viking rope.

Some of the people we run with use the Zeon, like the look of them especially when the control unit is mounted remotely. Both had fitment issues due to having older bumpers that were not pre-drilled for it.

I have a PS brawler on frt I put on 3 wks ago. I was thinking the Zeon is warn's new and improved over the 9.5, I don't know. I want to buy the best I can afford and I didn't see much of a difference in price. My buddy bought the 9.5 and he loves it. If it would fit on my bumper I was thinking I wanted the new and improved!? Thnks

the 9.5cti is the workhorse of the warn product line. Very good winch. One of the best. the Zeon is a great winch also just not as good as the CTI. Keep an eye out for our black Friday deals.
