I'm glad you posted this. I had not seen the tailgate cover. This may be a $70 solution to my bent one. Hopefully someone will chime in to say if these are actually available already.

Curious to see the responses. I have not heard a lot of positive comments on the quality of their products in general.

The current "quality" of my tailgate isn't too good either. Theirs wouldn't have to be too good to make an improvement.

Did yours get bent up from the tire hitting the ground?

Yes, I hit it while dropping off of a 5' ledge. It doesn't really look all that bad, but I get an "oil-can" type pop now when I hit bumps with the spare on the back. I think that cover would be a cheap temporary fix.

I don't have any specific pics of my tailgate cover with me (I'm at work) but it seems to be doing it's intended job. I needed to add it so that I could add the WP Adventure rack to my tailgate. The factory sheet metal would not hold the weight of the rack plus 2 full gas cans. It's a pretty heavy gage piece of sheet metal and the powder coating is decent too. Intall was easy too, as long as you dont mind drilling about 20 holes in your perfectly good tailgate! It installs with pop rivets. I painted the holes after drilling to "prevent" it from rusting too.
