Weathertech Side Window Deflectors....Are they any good?
Hello - I was toying with the idea of buying a set of Weathertech Side Window Deflectors. Attached is a link to what I am referring to http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...1345&Year=2008
Just curious if any of you out there have owned this product - and if so what your thoughts are on it? Is it good quality, stay on well, help vent the vehicle, etc? Do you have pictures....so that I can see how they look once installed?
Are there other brands who make a similiar product that you would recommend over weathertech?
Thanks for your help and advice!

I have them but I have the stick on, not in channel. I've had them on every truck and suv I've owned...probably 5 or 6 sets. I really like them because of the fact that you can leave the windows down a little and not have to worry about a sudden rainstorm when you're away. They keep the interior cooler when I'm at work and it sits in the sun all day and do give you some ventilation, even while driving in the rain, without letting the rain in.
Oh yeah, as far as the adhesive goes with the stick on type, I can attest to the fact that they will stay put for years. I never had one come loose..some vehicles 8+ years.

IV got the inchannel ones from Lund.
IMHO, they are as good as WeatherTech and a little less expensive.
They are especially good when the weather is hot.
I can park the Jeep and leave the windows cracked a little.

I just installed the in-channel type on my 2011 JK 2door last night. Took about 1 minute for each window. Mine came from Weathertech (made in Germany) and fit like a glove. Instructions were very clear and installation a snap. I chose the "dark" style as they matched my stock tinted windows perfectly. Have had Weathertech side window deflectors on all my cars and trucks for the past 15 years. They never failed.
I have them on my JKU; they actually increase the wind noise with the windows up.
Its great to be able to crack the window, but the biggest difference I notice is decrease in seat belt flap and buffeting when driving with the front windows down.
