Weight: PJ - Purejeep Crawler Stubby Front Bumper (w/o winch)
I just got a PJ - Purejeep Crawler Stubby Front Bumper (w/o winch).
Since it is the simplest looking bumper, it looks like the lightest steel bumper available right now, and it still weighs 83 lbs. (38kg) according to UPS label.
I've seen here on and off people wondering how heavy those steel bumpers are. So, here it is. Anything bigger or more complex design ones have to be much heavier. If you want to add a decent winch... that's about 80lbs. more.
It looks really nice! Built very well and looks like it can take a lot of abuse! I haven't installed it yet... I'm still waiting D-Ring Shackle Mounts: http://www.purejeep.com/proddetail.php?prod=PJ6000

Actually, I weighted the excess; box and packing material, and it was 10lbs.
So, the actual PJ stubby bumper's weight (w/ hardware) is 73 lbs. (33kg).
That's not bad. I don't think it will sink in the front.

Just for comparison
Shrockworks stubby bumper with winch hoop (1" recovery tabs incl.) = 45.5lbs.
Included winch plate and full skid (separate pieces) = 39.5
Total = 85lbs.
