Welding Washers
Can anybody tell me what size washers they welded on to their front trackbar brackets to eliminate death wobble?
Unfortunately, I only have the luxury of taking the trackbar off and walking into the part store with the stock bolt to measure for the right one. Then again, maybe I'm just being lazy. But I know lots of guys on this board have done this, so I'd love to know what people out there are using. I should mention that I'm planning to weld on both the axle and frame side brackets, so they may require different size washers...not sure.
Also, were you able to use the stock bolt and nut, or did you have to go with a longer bolt?
Thanks!

A brace just slides over the factory bracket and has additional mounting points. A few companies make them, JKS and Rugged Ridge are a couple of them. They're not cheap, but it's a better solution than a couple ten cent washers.
