Default What to buy next?

Trying to figure out my next purchase. Not sure what item is more practical.

1. Viair 400P air compressor (Tired of trying to find a gas station to air up after a trail run.)

OR

2. CB Radio (trying to communicate with fellow jeepers without a CB sucks.)

Your thoughts?

Air before CB. If cash is an issue then get a smaller portable compressor. I got mine at 4WP for $75 and it's worked great for 4 years. Maybe you could do that and get the CB.

I'm opposite I say cb before air, someone i'n your group will almost always have air you can use but being able to communicate while wheeling is a must for me!!

CB is first priority. Actually, I don't know how much your looking to spend but a uniden cb and antenna will run you about $110 and you can pickup a slime air compressor for $60 at any auto parts store or wallmart and use that for air. Works great and you could have both for under $200.

Cb are relatively cheap so I would say if you have the money for the air to get that cause it would be easier to get a CB later

I've been using walkie talkies, but they are un reliable. My frustraition grew this past saturday after trying to spot a friend and he couldn't get my signal. Also, I dumped $5 into ONE TIRE at a gas station air pump on the way home. SO PISSED!

Money isn't really an issue. I just want something quality that wont need to be replaced in a few years. I am a firm believer in, "buy cheap shit, and you get cheap shit. You get what you pay for".

Default 5 bucks for something that is everywhere!?!? haha

Idk about CO, but in here in Cali you can just go inside the gas station and ask them to turn the air compressor on and Im pretty sure they "have to" do it. I've never paid for air!! Just making sure that you knew that, or if it was different up there.

And with your choice, I think it all depends on who you ride with or with anyone...most of the time Im by myself on trails so air was my biggest issue and a CB was last on my list. But if someone you ride with a lot has air then Id go with a CB fer sure!!

I used to live in socal, I miss it. Gas stations out here aren't like that. There is a big "air for money pump" that is super slow, but that's about it.

I'm leaning towards just foregoing my usual monthly savings deposit and buying both.

If budget is in mind u can get a smaller compressor and just attach it to your battery after a trail on the trail and u can fill your tires in 15-20 min.

50-80$ compressor u can carry in a little bag.. I got one from harbor freight that never let me down. For less then $50
