what to change on the rubi
For things non specific to Rubis probably the weak plastic interior that likes to scratch reallly easy. The sheet metal on the body is pretty weak too, but that's just a good excuse to buy some 3/8"+ quarter panel guards when they come out. The rock rails also scare me a bit since they are mounted to the body on only a few tabs. The 4.10 gearing is great for the factory 32s. Could they have gone maybe to a 4.56? Sure, but then the mpg would really hit the deck. The engines that DC gives wranglers have been weak from day 1. It would be nice to see a v8 or diesel as on option.
So here's the run down listed in priority:
1. Scratch Proof Plastic <------ I know I know call me a mall crawler
2. Engine Options <------------ Diesel, V8
3. Strengthened Body Paneling
4. Strengthened Rails or a bit more protection over the $ E-Disconnects
My Opinions....
