Default What do you guys think i should do

i have 3.21 gears. d30 in the front and a d44 in the rear. i would like to one day put the arb air-lockers. my dilemma is that they make different size air lockers for different gears meaning the type of locker for the 3.21 gears cannot be used for let say 4.88's. i would like to one day re-gear but i could honestly only afford that in 3 to 4years. If i buy lockers now and later on re-gear, i think i would have to buy new air lockers (another 800$ each).

should i buy lockers now with my 3.21 gears and use those and have to re-gear and buy new lockers in 3.4 years.

Or do i wait it out and buy the lockers and gear in 3-4 years when i could probably afford them.

Why don't you re-gear first then locker? You can get re-gearing done for between 1000-1500. The ARB locker will cost you about 800 with a few hundred more for the compressor.

Edit:
Or you really could do it right and save for both. You can save yourself some money on install because the diffs will already be open.

If you're dead set on getting a locker check out an Aussie locker. They're cheap and pretty damn strong.

I think your best bet is to just bite the bullet and wait until you have enough in your upgrade funds to get what you really want and do everything at the same time.
