Smile What else do I need to complete this kit? Newbie Question...

I recently recieved a 2.5in Jeep Suspension Lift Kit as a gift..
What other parts do I need to complete?

I currently run stock rubi tires but will be upgrading to 35's after the lift.
This is my daily driver and drive long distances for roadtrips and will be doing light wheeling with it.

Was looking at a set of Fox Shocks as an upgrade but what other things do you guys suggest.

What should be done right away with this kit and what can wait?

Thanks in advance for any help!

More info on what kit you have would be helpful. There are varying degrees of "complete" kits. Without knowing what components you already have its hard to suggest what else you might need.

I got an adjustable front track bar after my 2.5" lift. Also needed 1.5" wheel spacers afterward (I have new wheels with proper backspacing now).
A friend of mine put 35" tires on after his 2.5" lift and they rubbed when flexed. He got a 1" body lift and all is good.
Like the previous posters posted, it's hard to say what you need without knowing what you have.

Sorry. I thought it was in my original post. Here's a picture of the kit I have. I have spidertrax 1.5 spacers with cut fenders already.
Everything else is stock and I'm running 3:73 gears.

Sell it and buy a better kit? Although lots seem to have this same setup and with relatively no problems. I had a RC kit on a truck before and it was crap so I am biased a bit.

But get a front adjustable trackbar, rear trackbar relocate bracket (unsure if it's included), shocks. You got the spacers already if your going to run stock wheels. You don't need CA's but if you want to get your caster closer to spec you could add front lowers or brackets, if you want. That's pretty much it...

It comes with lifted coil springs; shock relocation brackets and brake line relocation brackets.

Both axles will be shifted to one side. If it bothers you, get a rear trackbar bracket and a front adj trackbar.

The pinion will tilt up, lowering the caster, causing flightier steering. If it bothers you, get some form of caster correction.

No bumpstops. If you buy RC shocks in the future, they come with the little built-in stops. If you run the brackets or go with another brand of shock, buy front bumpstops and install them when the new coils go on.

X2 sell it. Many people have complained that rough country rides rough. If moneys real tight do a teraflex 2.5" budget boost and you could upgrade piece by piece at whatever pace you could afford.

Comes with everything you need. I'd recommend getting adjustable bump stops so you don't jam your tires into your fenders or over-compress your shocks. There is some chance that your caster will be too low and you won't like the handling (same issue with any lift that doesn't have adjustable front control arms). Buy the geo brackets from AEV for $100 and you are golden.

A lot of people don't like the kit. I've never run it. For $250, give it a try. If you like it, awesome. Saved you a ton of money. If not, sell it and try something else.

The only thing that could suck with that kit are the coils. They probably ride just fine. If you add a ton of weight to your Jeep, you may have an issue with sagging (though I am sure they would work with you if that happened).
