What lift not to get?
I just picked up the 2.5" Teraflex and will have it installed next week at High Country 4X4. I've heard that Teraflex makes some of the best lift kits, and the 2.5 is bolt on. Teraflex ONLY does Jeeps, no other vehicles. Our dealership offered 2 lift options, and those kits are from Teraflex. They put the Mopar name on them.
Out of the choices that you listed in your OP, and then what you said you're going to use it for, I'd definitely steer you to the Rock Krawler setup. I'd also send you toward Teraflex, if you haven't already looked at them. Both of those are going to definitely be good for what you're intending.

Ok, so I’ve seen everyone praise on certain lift kits and with all the available options I’m having a hard time deciding, so I’d like to know who has had ‘bad’ experiences and who to stay away from. I’m not looking at a BB lift, so only complete kits in the 3.5” range, both short and long arm. I’m currently looking at RK, RC, and Clayton as my top three and am still open to others, but would like advise on who to mark ‘off’ the list.
Thanks.

would also look at the aev/nth degree lift all great reviews on this lift, terreflex also had all good reviews, dont think you can go wrong with either lift.
clayton might be a good 1 has a lifetime warranty on it, but kind of pricyyyyy.
