Default What locker in my pr44?

Ok I should be ordering my prorock 44 from north ridge 4x4 in two weeks. I'm just torn between the ARB or the Detroit locker.

I am in Mississippi and ride trails, mud, and obstacles, very few rocks. Is having a non selectable that big a deal? I will definitely be putting an ARB in the rear for on road comfort. But other then making steering a little more difficult, why go with an ARB over the Detroit? I also like the idea of the simplicity of the Detroit. Not having air lines to run, buttons to select, and the no brain needed seems pretty cool. Just put it in 4lo and you know you are locked.

Oh and I have a 2008 x model 2 dr manual tranny and will be running 37s and a 4in teraflex lift with je reel driveshafts. (if that matters)

So pls anyone's thoughts or opinions would be be greatly appreciated as spending 4 or 5 grand on my front axel is a major mod for me. Thanks!

Man, for that kind of terrain, I wonder if you wouldn't be best served by TruTracs instead of lockers.

Personally, I can't imagine a scenario where I'd want a non selectable locker

i have a good friend with a 90s model toyota 4runner. he installed non selectable lockers front and rear and they seem to work out really well for him. we do a little mud, but mostly trail / rock.

that said, i like the idea of having selectable lockers on my rubicon. i can turn them off and on when i want to, not when the diff decides to.

I loved my OX back on my TJ... My vote would be for the OX locker.
