Like the others said a winch, it's good no matter what type of wheeling you do. All my experience has been with Warn and never had an issue.

honestly, i would skip this mod. if anything, relocating your evap is the way to go but, even that is far from necessary. in the over 5 years that i've been hammering on my white JK, i've mananged to rip my evap off 3 times and the last of which was serious enough to require replacing. the evap is not a critical part and will not leave you stranded and, if i recall, only cost me about $75 to replace.

I went with onboard air. Airing down is something I do pretty much anytime I head off pavement so air was somethimg I needed every trip. I would like a lot of other things but I feel I got the most out of a compressor. Airing up my 31's at a gas station from 20 to 34ish hot cost me $4, $5 if I wanted them all back to 36 cold. It was a full 3 minute cycle each tire. When I get my 35's it would be closer to $10? And take a half hour or longer. In my case it will pay for itself in less than a year. If the option is not airing down then it pays for itself quicker in cut tires.

The next mod I want is quick discos but the JKS that I want will have to wait till I lift it but if I could fit them I would have them on now.

you mentioned rock crawling and mudding? SKIDS SKIDS SKIDS
a bumber and winch are helpful as well but if you don't off road alone (recommended), then they can wait.
if you crack your oil pan on the trail, you're not gonna be happy.. my 0.02

he has a 6-speed so the only skid that would be nice to have is an oil pan skid. fortunately, an evo or rancho oil pan skid will get the job done and for relatively cheap. the factory t-case and gas tank skid are more than adequate and do not need to be replaced.
