1. First Aid Kit

2. Tow Straps

3. Fire extinguisher

4. CB Radio

The rest will make sense when you get out of the woods a couple times.

Default warranty concerns

Thats interesting. When I asked the dealer they claimed that it does matter, couldn't be because he was trying to get more money out of me. The mopar kits are over priced and I can't imagine what the dealership would charge in labor to install it. I can see, however, that it would be easy for them to void your warranty with aftermarket kits. I guess I need to check into it a bit more.

Each dealership is different but if it's going to void anything it will be your suspension. If you don't touch it it won't be voided. So your life-time powertrain warranty should not be affected.

I got my JK and did this stuff first and it was relatively cheap. Now the fun begins. Good luck with your decision.

When buying mods you need to put in order what is the most important to you. I have done some mods and quite a few people on here question why I do them. It's my jeep and I will do what I want in the order I want. I have sliders, front bumper and winch. I have the stock suspension but just picked up some OEM Aluminum wheels with the stock SR-A tires real cheap for a set of five. They are much better than what I had and I don't have the money right now for lift and tires. But If I do go wheeling I know I have a little more Ground clearance and self recovery if I need it. Its all about what you think you'll need. Don't let people make your decisions for you cause thats their opinion....just my $.02.
