As others have mentioned, if you have the time, you should consider installing yourself. If you want to have that shop do it for you, at least look into other mfg's offerings. I'm sure you could talk that shop into installing another brand.
nthinuf, if you were me, which lift would you consider, given that its mostly highway driving. Im thinking 3 inch with 35's.

Are you willing to chop your flares or go to flats? What is your budget? What is your tolerance for flighty handling? How upset will replacing a driveshaft make you?

For your needs, a cheap leveling kit or 2-2.5" BB would be your best bet. If you need more clearance for offroad, chop the flares or go to flats, or add a body lift.

If you want coils, be sure to research the actual height you will end up with, which more often than not, isn't what was advertised. OME HD and TeraFlex 2.5" will both put you right around 3". At this height, you may end up wanting to add components for axle centering and caster correction. Haven't seen the lift heights for Rock Krawlers 2.5 kits, but one of their new aluminum Pro systems will likely be my next lift.

Here's my $.02. I installed a Rancho 4" Sport Lift and I love it. My jeep is a DD and the ride is great thanks to the adjustable RS9000XL shocks that come with it. The lift costs $1000 (don't know your budget) and has all the parts you need. It is a bolt-on lift too, which means you don't have to pay to have it installed. I had a buddy help me and we did it in about 6 hours.

It will easily clear 35's with room for flexing. From your OP it sounds like wheeling isn't a big factor anyway. But, if you change your mind, you can wheel with this kit. Another thing that appealed to me for this kit over other 4" kits is that it didn't require new control arms, and drag link because the kit uses brackets to correct the geometry in the suspension. This means alignment is not so greatly impacted. I had my alingment checked after installing my lift and the only adjustment needed was a 0.1 deg toe in adjustment.

There is a thread on the forum titled "Rancho 4" Lift has anyone tried one". Find that thread and you'll get a good idea of the results from the lift.

IMO, for a DD, I doubt you'll find a better 4" lift.

Try these guys. They helped me with my death wobble when I didnt even have a lift installed. They build new JKs and sell them after they lift and mod. There was one lift I was looking at to clear 35s (2.5 or 3in) for $7XX installed. They carry a few lifts and will probably order whatever you want to install.

Here is what they build up and sell.

I just google mapped their location to yours and it says its around a 1hr 30min drive for you. Give them a call, they are a friendly bunch.
