Default What size rims?

I am looking to upgrade my tires and rims.
I will be putting some 33" BFG MT's on and I am trying to decide on a rim.
My jeep came with 16's on it, but I have been noticing people going with anything from 15" to 18".
Im just wondering if there is any benefit to going with a taller, or shorter rim. Or if I should just stick with the 16".

Thanks, Kevin

I run 17's. the seem to work for various sized tires. I run them with 37's, but they also look good with 33's. Most people think the wheel should be about half the tire size. So for a 33, you are going to fall between 16's and 17's. Go with the 17's. That way if you go with say 35's in the future you are set.

17' s and 35's look awsome. 16's and 33's would look almost the same as i hated the look of the 32's and 17's too much rims for little tire and the rims take more abuse when off-roading.

If you are going to stay with 33s, the 16s would be fine. But if you are thinking 35s or 37s go with the 17s right away.

More tire options for 17s than 16s, but the 16s you find are cheaper. 15s are cheapest and have the most options for tires, but you have to modify your calipers (usually).

The real answer is buy what you want. Some people use 20s. Your money.
