Default What sized gear puller for installing DS?

Are folks using when putting on their drive shafts? I see in the write up on project-jk that is says to use one, I just want to be sure I get the right size.

It's the regular puller, not the axle puller. I'm sure there is an official name but the guys at your local auto parts store will know

Just looking to buy one online and they seem to come in sizes (4", 6", 8", etc...) Just don't want to get one too big or small.

Call your local auto shop and ask what size their rental is.

Ha, called and the guy at Advance Auto was like "we have 3, 4, 5, etc..." Basically said to come in and look at them and decide. Damn, I just want to order one online and need to know the size buddy Probably 6" is a safe size I'd assume.

i pulled mine recently, I want to say it was a 4" or 5" I used. dont just go with the 'bigger is better' point of view, there isn't alot of room to work in there.
