Second that. Its a great winch, good line spead, and its got the reliability of warn. I got mine on sale fro 499 from 4wd.com.
Mile markers are slow, and I question the quality of smittybilt. I don't know much about ramsey.
If you have an unlimited, your heavy, get a snatch block. You need a good tow strap or two. A tree saver is a good idea but a strap can be used as well.
One or two 10k shackles are also a must.

I got the Superwinch EPI9.0. They are pretty popular here with a better warranty than warn:
Warn- 1 year electrical, Lifetime mechanical
Superwinch- 3 years solenoid, 1 year other electrical, lifetime mechanical
9000lb capacity, integrated solenoid and cost $503 with the 20% off 4 wheel parts coupon in fourwheeler magazine.

I'm running a Warn M8000 (as mentioned before in this thread) and I love it. The winch has managed to get me out of numerous jams. I did have it die on my after an extended pull but once I got home and cleaned all of the connections it worked just like new again.
