Question What would you do?

Say you had $1,000.00 in credit with 4WD.com and a 2011 Silver Sahara Unlimited with manual transmission that's completely stock. What do you buy first?

This is my predicament, I bought the previously mentioned JK in late October and, after a product coming in damaged, ended up with $1,000.00 in credit with 4WD.com. To make matters worse, I then proceeded to break my left leg on January 6th only to watch my baby get completely buried in snow from my kitchen window :(.. and no, I was not going to let anyone near the steering wheel of my beast! She sits at 3k miles and will for another two weeks.

I live not far from NYC in New Jersey and plan on heading west every chance I get with my Jeep all stripped down to camp and trail all I can, when the weather breaks. I'm having trouble figuring out what I should invest in first? I don't plan to go too crazy while shes in her first year and need to give myself some time away from serious ankle danger as well. So I ask; what would you do in this situation? What would you focus on first? Shocks, bumpers, rock rails, tops, security, etc.

I'm curious to know what the seasoned Jeep owner might reccomend to new Jeep owner they were in the past, if they had the chance.

Thanks,

JG

I'm sorry!

Lift and big tires was the 1st thing on my list! But that's gonna probably cost more than 1k. So I say, get a bumper and winch. That way you're ready for any recovery that may be needed.

Good luck!

...........probably a bottle of gin, and a first class accordion.........

....or, maybe a dual-battery system
...or a winch and bumper (but that would probably be more than $1k)
..or some skid plates for here or there
.wish I had your problem........

I would get a superchips tuner, a tf level kit, and some spidertrax spacers. That way u got more power, level, higher, and wider stance. Then save for tires and wheels. Depending on ur stock wheels u can run big tires on them with the spacers.
U will prob have left over $$ also.
