Whats behind the ARB bar plastic caps?
My Jeep only fits in my garage by an inch or two length ways and I was wondering if I needed those pointy plastic caps that protrude several inches foward of the bar.
Is there anything behind them? Can they be easilly removed?

Yes what DadsCJ said, the crush cans are back there. When you install the bumper you can cut off the crush cans from the stock metal piece. You then add some crush can extenders and then use some adhesive latex or liquid nails to hold it in place as you put the bumper mounting bolts through these pieces so you don't want them to shift. I think most people leave them off. I am a little bit anal so I put mine on. The only time they would really make a difference is if you hit something directly in the region of the plastic cap.
Mine was fitted at my dealer so I assume that they put all that stuff in there.
I assume then can knock the plastic caps off and remove the extender from underneath? What size hole would be left?
Does anyone have any pics of the ARB bar fitted with no front caps?
